Doctors Names: Dr. Brian Lewis (Hematology/Oncology) and Dr. Ramey Littell (Gynecologic Oncology)
Hospital: Kaiser Permanente San Francisco
Treatment: Originally referred for exploratory surgery to examine and remove ovarian tumor. When opened up (8/29/05), surgeon found tumors on both ovaries, uterus, pea-sized tumor on fatty part of colon and walnut-sized tumor on pancreas. Radical hysterectomy performed and tumors on colon and pancreas removed. No visible tumors remained.

DSRCT diagnosis suspected 9/15/05 and confirmed (second-opinion from Massachusetts General Hospital) 9/28/05. Will be undergoing a 17-round over 48 week Sarcoma Cancer Treatment. Drugs that will be used: Vincristine (V), Doxorubicin (D), Cyclosphophamide (C), Ifosfamide (I) and Etoposide (E).

Note: The disease does not seem to be displaying the typical chromosonal translocation that the vast majority of other cases show. (Or if that translocation has occurred, the pathologists haven't been able to locate it.)
